Women cell at CTUAP aims at empowering and orienting women to recognize their true potential and to help them attain their own stand in a competing world. Its goal is the overall development in all spheres of their life. The functions of the cell are purely to safeguard the rights of female students, faculty and staff members and promoting gender equality, and creating a safe and supportive environment on campus and also to provide a platform for listening the complaints. . Here are some key functions and roles typically associated with Women Cells in universities:

Providing support services such as counseling, guidance, and advocacy for women students and staff facing issues such as harassment, discrimination, or personal challenges.
Organizing workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns on gender sensitization, women’s rights, laws related to women, and other relevant topics.
Undertaking research and documentation on issues affecting women within the university context, contributing to knowledge creation and policy formulation.
