The University came into force on 5th Aug 2019 as per the provision of Central University (Amendment) Act 2019. It is a fully funded by the Central Government through the University Grants Commission. The University is dedicated to providing an exceptional learning environment and outstanding, relevant academic programmes. It envisions fostering the personal, cultural, and environmental development of the people, particularly tribes. The University is striving to realize the aspiration of the tribal community for higher education.
